I am a registered dental hygienist, the owner/operator of Blue Horizon Dental Hygiene, an Independent Dental Hygiene Clinic in downtown Collingwood, ON. I also work with many local Collingwood Dentists and refer business back and forth.

I am an experienced preventive oral health care professional who provides dental hygiene services in a non-traditional setting. In Canada, for over ten years, dental hygiene services such as the assessment and diagnosis of gum disease, teeth cleaning and oral health coaching can be delivered in locations other than in a traditional dentist office.

In seeking to maintain their oral health while suiting their individual lifestyle and needs, my clients enjoy and appreciate the flexibility of my hours and my convenient location with free parking.  My services are covered by most dental benefit plans and I accept clients covered by government dental programs.

My vision is that the caring, warm and unique environment at Blue Horizon Dental Hygiene will be a place where clients will feel comfortable and relaxed. The idea for the clinic grew from my passion for providing personalized oral health coaching and consistent gentle and thorough dental hygiene care that leaves clients feeling both inspired and empowered.

With a goal of increasing access to dental hygiene care, regardless of age or ability, I look forward to serving the diverse needs of our growing community.

Orthodontics began in Collingwood, Ontario on September 10th, 2001. Dr. Ted Schipper decided to spend more time living in the area that he and his family vacationed in for many years.
